The main house was built at the end of the xvi century as a fortress.
It was used as a convent and still maintains this name.
Il Ciliegio, on the first floor, comprises a double bedroom with vaulted ceiling,
a small living room with mezzanine for one bed, a kitchen, a bathroom and an open terrace.
La Ginestra, on the second floor, comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedroom,
a living room with open fire, a kitchen, a bathroom.
Both enjoy wonderful views of the sea and have such features as antique furnishing
and decorative memorabilia of the muratorio family.
L'antico frantoio Fratelli Muratorio is on the ground floor and forms part of the local history,
it has now been transformed into a small museum.
The tasting of extra vergin olive oil takes place beneath its vaulted ceiling.
The guests of Borgo Muratori will enjoy take meals outisde in the garden
or sunbathe in secluded corners and relax under the shade of the olive trees.
