Back to 1870: the shipowner Giuseppe Ardoino, my great-great-grandfather used
to plough through the waves on his favourite sailing ship: the Risveglio.
Tired of his long journeys, he loved to retire
in this estate just 1 km away from his sailing ships from where at sunset he could hear
the whistle of the lowering of the flag.
The family Ardoino is still here and so are
the peace and quietness.
